Cameras and sensors. Precisely captured.

The store combines cameras with weight sensors in the shelves. Every item taken is captured twice — without facial recognition.

A shelf, seen from the side. 1 The cameras follow the reach. 2 Weight sensors under each shelf confirm the item taken. 3 It joins the virtual basket; put back, it leaves it again.

What there isn’t

Two things we left out.

No

RFID tags

No product tagging; the range changes freely.

No

Facial recognition

No biometric data, at any time.

Detection

Cameras and weight sensors

Cameras follow the route through the store; shelf weight sensors confirm which product was taken or put back. The item lands in the virtual basket.

Processing

In store and in the cloud

Analysis starts in the store and is completed in a secure cloud; range and prices are synchronised regularly.

Payment

Charged on exit

The payment method presented on entry is charged on exit; the receipt arrives by app, text message or email.

Stock

Real time

Continuous visibility, automatic restocking triggered by actual levels.

The system uses no facial recognition and builds no customer profiles. What the store learns is what sells and when — not to whom.
